Stokes Rousseau was engaged to upgrade facilities at the iconic Kew Traffic School — a beloved community space educating children on road safety since 1957.

The project involved the demolition of outdated sheds, shelters, and hardstand areas, followed by the construction of two new buildings: a multi-purpose facility and a bike/tool storage shed.

The new works included a large party room integrated with landscaped outdoor areas and viewing zones, along with a new kitchen and dedicated storage rooms. The design focused on improving the overall functionality, circulation, and accessibility of the site, while ensuring the new structures offered durability and minimal ongoing maintenance.

This project has significantly enhanced the user experience for visitors and staff, supporting the continued delivery of fun, interactive road safety education for children.
